2025 MBAAI annual golf outing
The annual MBAAI Golf Outing again took place at Powerscourt Golf Club in Co. Wicklow, with past Board member and retaining champion Bryan Murphy taking the spoils, two shots ahead of previous winner Conor Horgan.
In glorious sunshine, members and guests took on the East Course. designed by the talented golfer and successful Walker Cup captain Peter McEvoy who brilliantly follows the contours of this mature and historic landscape. It has hosted the 1998 Irish PGA which three-time major winner Padraig Harrington won in a playoff. The East course was also the site of the 2001 Irish Seniors Open.
The impressive MBAAI Perpetual Crystal Trophy was up for grabs for the lowest scoring individual member. For the first time, members and guests played as part of the MBAAI team as we took on our friends from the Marketing and Management Golfing Society, the combined Marketing Institute & Institute of Management Consultants and Advisers Golfing societies which have come together to form a new combined society. The match ended in a 5-point victory for our opponents!
